Kuzuri Farm and ARWAFA Network Partner for Feed Security in the RAFFS Initiative
Kuzuri Dairy Farm, based in Margawa, Kenya, is an emerging force in the country's livestock production sector. With a strong commitment to high-quality dairy farming and sustainable practices, Kuzuri has focused on enhancing productivity while maintaining locally rooted agricultural systems. As feed remains one of the most important inputs in dairy farming, the farm’s new partnership with Africa Women Resources Farming and Agribusiness Network (ARWAFA-N) comes at a strategic time when feed supply networks are under pressure due to global disruptions.
In a significant step towards securing feed distribution networks for dairy production in Kenya, Kuzuri Dairy Farm has entered into a formal agreement with AWARFA-N. The contract, effective from 12th May 2025 to 11th May 2026, outlined the terms under which ARWAFA-N will supply feed ingredients to Kuzuri Dairy Farm on a as-needed basis. This agreement showcases the collaborative spirit that the Resilient African Feed and Fodder Systems (RAFFS) initiative promotes.
