The Goal of the Survey is to capture data and information on the effects of the triple crises (Covid-19, Climate Change (drought and floods) and the Russia-Ukraine Conflict) on access and availability of feed and fodder, and the subsequent effects on the availability, access to (including increasing prices) the livestock sourced foods.

The Specific Objectives are to capture data and information on:

    2. Status of the capacities and functionality of Africa’s feed and fodder data management systems.

    3. Effect on shortages of feed and fodder due to the 3C’s on livestock-sourced foods.

    4. Status of inclusion of women in the feed and fodder and livestock sourced foods supply chains

    5. Assessment of the level of coordination of actors and initiatives to address feed and fodder shortages

    6. Emergency and short-term response initiatives undertaken to address feed and fodder shortages

    7. Potential approaches and areas of intervention by the RAFFS Project.
