About the African Union Centres of Excellence
Institutional support for livestock development and fisheries governance on the continent is being driven in part by AU-IBAR's partnership with numerous Centres of Excellence (CoE) that have proven their ability to do so. Each centre works to improve AU-IBAR's efficiency and push the organisation forward on a maturity scale.
The facilities were chosen after a rigorous application procedure, and they are representative of organizations from all of the Regional Economic Communities. Each CoE is accountable for promoting understanding of its focus area and aiding in the adoption of best practises. To that end, these hubs serve as "competency centres" or "capability centres," and are experts in the field of knowledge management.
This page provides links to the profiles and activities undertaken on behalf of AU-IBAR, by the CoEs.
