    The purpose of the Subsidiary Body (SB) conference as an intersessional session is to inform and prepare negotiators for the next Conference of Parties (COP) that will take place in Dubai November-December 2023. The "SB56" conference will take place from 5-15 June 2023 in Bonn at the UNFCCC headquarters. African Group of Negotiators (AGN) will take part with responsibility of preparing their countries to effectively negotiate from an informed common position grounded in governance and international negotiation principles underpinning climate change adaptation actions, mitigation measures and capacity for resiliency.
