Regional Workshop on Communication for a Sustainable and Inclusive Blue Economy in the A'TLAFCO Region to be Held in Fez, Morocco on March 26th, 2024
Fez, Morocco - The Ministerial Conference on fisheries cooperation among African States bordering the Atlantic Ocean (ATLAFCO) and the Media Observatory for Sustainable Fishing in Africa (MOSFA) are proud to announce the upcoming regional workshop on communication for a sustainable and inclusive blue economy in the COMHAFAT region. The event will take place from March 26th to 27th, 2024, in Fez, Morocco.
This workshop will bring together a diverse group of participants, including government representatives, experts in fisheries and aquaculture, members of civil society, specialized journalists, as well as private sector actors. The main objective of this workshop is to discuss the issues, strategies, and best practices in communication to promote a sustainable and inclusive blue economy in the ATLAFCO region.
The event will consist of five thematic sessions, addressing topics such as the challenges of sustainable blue economy, national strategies and initiatives, the role of fisheries and aquaculture, as well as the crucial role of communication in promoting a sustainable blue economy.
