Regional Economic Communities (RECS) Implementation of Fisheries Governance Phase Two Home
Group Overview
Under the auspices of AFRM, AU-IBAR is prioritizing and enhancing coordination and institutional collaboration for the expeditious development of the sector. RECs are the building blocks of the African Union Commission with a mandate to facilitate regional economic integration between and among members of the individual regions and through the wider African Economic Community (AEC), which was established under the Abuja Treaty (1991). The RECs are strategic implementing partners for the implementation of FishGov 2 and are therefore members of the Project Steering Committee which provides strategic guidance to the implementation of the project.

Thanks for the good job done.
The work should continue between us so we make sure that all the necessary information is shared for the benefit of our region and respective populations.
