Background
The University of Monastir was created by virtue of the decree N°2102-of the year 2004, dated September 2, 2004. This Creation is announced within the framework of the reform that the university education system is undergoing, a reform based on the decentralization of services and the objective of improving the profitability of this system within the framework of a globalizing approach that takes into consideration the scientific and academic sides as well as the social side.
Very recent as is the noble decision of this creation, the University of Monastir includes
16 university establishments distributed between the governorates of Monastir and Mahdia, establishments some of which are well rooted and which have contributed generously to the innovation of modern Tunisia. The University of Monastir is certainly a precious asset that will be of great contribution to prevailing the knowledge society.
