South Sudan launch their first Women Fish Network & elect Executive Committee

A consultative workshop on AWFISHNET was held on 13-14 October, 2021 in Sudan, Juda to launch the Sudan chapter and elect the following office bearer for the next four (4) years as per the constitution:

  • Ms. Awizia Nitty Orrich - Chairperson, and
  • Ms. Amal Mogga Sebit – Vice Chairperson
  • Ms. Flora Magara Emmanuel – Secretary Genera
  • Sr. Rain Mary – Vice Secretary General
  • Ms. Betty Muja Christopher – Treasurer
  • Ms. Beatrice Awot Emmanuel – Representative Persons with Disabilities
  • Ms. Nyanjok Abraham Thon Chol – Youth Office Representative
  •  13-Persons representing the ten states and three administrative areas will be nominated.

The members also developed a Two (2) year Action Plan (October 2021 – September 2023) that highlighted key activities for implementation by the executive office of the South Sudan Women Fish Network.
