Consumption of uninspected donkey meat a health concern

The Kenya Veterinary board and non-governmental organizations that deal with cruelty of donkeys have expressed their concerns on the decreasing number of donkeys in the country.
They say that the significant decrease is a result of consumption of donkey meat. Members of public have been urged to be cautious of the meat they are consuming noting that most of the donkey meat is often sold to unsuspecting traders especially in Nairobi.
